Dining Out NYC Status Update

The Dining Out NYC rulemaking process is moving forward now that the public comment period and the public hearing have concluded. (A recording of the public hearing can be viewed here.) All feedback received prior to the hearing will be reviewed by the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) to inform the program rules, which are expected to be finalized later this month.

Once rules are finalized and approved, DOT, SBS, and others will be reaching out through email, social media, and online webinars to help restaurant operators become familiar with the application process and program rules before the online application portal launches in early 2024.
