HEALTHY COMMUNITIES AWARD

LENOX HEALTH GREENWICH VILLAGE
Lenox Health Greenwich Village (LHGV), a division of Lenox Hill Hospital, is a state-of-the-art medical complex offering community-based care. It features a full-service emergency department, a patient service center for blood collection, and an advanced outpatient imaging center. As part of Northwell Health, it provides access to a vast network of emergency professionals.
Committed to both individual patient care and community engagement, LHGV incorporates research and local input to shape its services. As a hospital dedicated to community relations and health, it also regularly hosts community meetings such as the GVCCC Annual Meeting and the 6th Precinct Community Council.

WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS AWARD

FISHS EDDY 
Founded in 1986 by Julie Gaines, is a Manhattan-based retailer specializing in eclectic dinnerware, flatware, and glassware. Inspired by a trove of vintage restaurant dishware discovered in Fishs Eddy, New York, the shop blends antique finds with quirky, original designs. Known for unique collaborations with celebrities and retailers, the store offers items like NYC skyline-themed dinnerware and politician-faced plates, cementing its reputation as a beloved destination for distinctive, whimsical tableware.

LEGACY BUSINESS AWARD 

VILLAGE APOTHECARY
An independent Greenwich Village pharmacy, has served the Village community for 40 years. Founded by Michael Konnon, it became a safe haven during the AIDS crisis, providing hard-to-find medications and compassionate care. Today, it continues advocating for affordable HIV treatments and partners with the NY State AIDS Institute. Under Vijay Desai and John Kaliabakos, it expanded services during COVID-19 and monkeypox outbreaks. Known for personalized care, it also offers local skincare products, maintaining its commitment to community and excellence.
