West Village nonprofit Greenwich House is thrilled to announce Taste of GreenwichVillage is returning for its 22nd year on May 14, 2024, at 7-9 p.m. at The Altman Building. Twenty chefs from New YorkCity's finest restaurants will serve up bites of their most exquisite dishes, all in support of Greenwich House's manyservices that foster wellness, creativity, and connection for New Yorkers in the West Village and across the city. 

This all-you-can-eat and drink event boasts the finest fare from some of Lower Manhattan’s best-loved diningestablishments. 

“For over 20 years, some of the best chefs in our city have donated their time and talent to support Greenwich House, anorganization that has been fostering community service and care for over a century, and we’re thrilled to have so manylocal restaurants back with us to celebrate the work,” said Darren BlochCEO and Executive Director of GreenwichHouse

  • Alain Coumont’s plant-based food and wine bar Le Botaniste 
  • Viennese bistro Hancock Street 
  • Italian seafood & lobster bar Alice 
  • Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Michelin-starred Perry Street 
  • Homestyle Indian fare from Ambo 
  • Italian-Southern fusion from Bird Dog 
  • Chef Fernando Scarpati’s old-school Ferdi Ristorante 
  • Artisanal bakery Café d’Avignon 
  • European pastry shop Der Pioneer 

Returning favorites include:

  • Blackfoot Hospitality’s Atlantic Seaboard inspired gem The Clam, and ever-popular farm-to-table bistros LittleOwl, Market Table, and The Mary Lane 
  • Homemade pasta destination dell' anima 
  • Arlo SoHo’s in-house eatery Lindens 
  • Restaurateur Keith McNally’s Morandi 
  • Oft-cited “most romantic restaurant in New York City” One if by Land, Two if by Sea 
  • The famous margaritas from Cowgirl 

 

Additionally, Greenwich House Pottery will be selling one-of-a-kind handmade ceramics by student artists, and DJStormin' Norman will keep the music playing all evening.
